You have to love USA’s Burn Notice. Not only is the show moving into the swan song of its fantastic second season, but they’re always giving us sweet stuff to dangle over your heads as prize pack give aways. Today is no different and we’ve got a pretty sweet little pack for you.

But first, you’ll have to read (or skip over) this advertising schlock that was written by someone in the mail room PR department that we’re obligated to include in order to give you the chance to win some sweet stuff:

BURN NOTICE, the hottest show last summer retburnnotice_prizeurns for its second season continuation with seven all new episodes on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 10/9c. BURN NOTICE is a sexy action-packed series starring Jeffrey Donovan (“Changeling”) as Michael Westen, a blacklisted spy who finds himself stranded in sun-soaked Miami without money, resources, or a clue as to who burned him, or why. The only tools at his disposal are his wits, his charm, his special ops training and his “friends:” Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar – “The Tudors”), a beautiful ex-IRA operative who also happens to be Michael’s ex-girlfriend, and Sam (Bruce Campbell – “Evil Dead”), a washed-up military intelligence contact who works as Michael’s sidekick, and his mother (Emmy Award-winner Sharon Gless – “Queer as Folk”), who Michael has spent most of his adult life trying to avoid. The pilot episode introduces the 2 best things about Micheal Westin that continue throughout the entire series. 1. He is pretty damn good at what he does. I love to watch him set traps, play parts, and injure people in really badass ways. And 2. He's a smartass. His mouth is as deadly as his aim, as is apparent by his comment about the car he is in when picked up in the pilot. I look forward to more of both skills of his in the coming season.
  • The episode where Michael plays the nerdy technician... AWESOME... And Being a LIFE LONG ANGELS FAN... Bruce's cover name being Chuck Finley made me laugh so GD hard...

    BEST SHOW ON USA!
  • I haven't seen season one, so I'm pretty much disqualified.

Regardless, I just wanted to say anything that involves a Mini-Football = Awesome
  • I loved the first episode of Season 1, because it was the first episode I got to see. I love this show, it's one of my favorites.

As far as the next season goes... I want to know what the deal is with Carla, and I want to see more Bruce Campbell!!!

I really like him shooting the drug dealer through the wall. In season 2, I just want the main story to progress as much as possible.
  • Andrew
Argh, you guys and your "must be a resident of the united states".

I get why, but it's so annoying whenever I see something cool and want to enter ;)

    Too true, dude! (GROAN)

My favorite part of season one was the pilot. I hope to see more Bruce Campbell in season 2.
  • Syd
Spies are always cool. I think that answers both questions, haha.
  • I just like when he details all the ways to create spy tech out of completely random items, for example when he makes an x-ray for his trunk using a tv and a tazer. Not to mention Michael is just an absolute BADASS. I can't wait to see him kick more bad guy ass this season.
