An amazing director who finally got a lifetime award from the academy, consider the quality of films he has made and the actors who got award and noms in his films. A very good adapation from him, I thought this was going to be sort of slow and possibly boring when I first went to watch it. I was blown away by it's subtlety and how it played out and was acted quite well, it definetly deserves to be on any top movie lists of all time. I was just thinking about the director Sidney Lumet.
