It’s been a while since we’ve delivered some Officially Cool gear to you — and in our continual effort to make our longest running column better, we’ve decided to break it up into a few different categories. This one is called Geeks@Home, and it has everything to do with you. This round of Geeks@Home comes to us from faithful reader Gerardo, who discovered this spectacular Battlestar Galactica-themed PC case mod over at Bit-Tech (via Gizmodo.) It is probably one of the coolest things that I’ve seen in a long time. That is, ever since I discovered the existence of a life-sized Cylon Centurion.
The case includes a front side-loading optical drive–located behind a laser-cut transparent BSG medallion. Pretty wicked if you ask me. As well, it also includes a landing deck with functioning runway lights. It is absolutely incredible — have a look for yourself below.

It is unlikely that this will hold you over until Battlestar Galactica makes its return in January, but we do what we can. Do you have something cool and geeky at home that you’d like the world to see? Drop us a line at editors@filmschoolrejects.com.
