One thing – Defiance is based completely on lies, Tuvia Bielski and his crew never did fight with Germans, their only tactic was to hide from Nazi troops and rob local villages. Their hands are covered with bloodof local farmers who denied him help. Their only crime was that they didn’t have enough for to provide for their own family and couldn’t help Tuvia Bielski and his villians.

Don’t get fooled, don’t be naive – it’s a fake story what they showed in the movie.

I agree with nearly all the films on here, not necessarily the order but I never find a list I totally agree with.

I'm starting to think I'm alone with my opinion of The Fall. I can see the appeal and why you could be so enamored with it's visuals and cinematography. There were some really good scenes, visually speaking. As I said on the top foreign films article, I think it was much more about style than substance.
