Eagle Eye’s Dumb Alt Ending. The Daily Diversion.

Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on December 31, 2008

Need a good laugh for your New Year’s Eve afternoon? Check out the alternate ending for the movie Eagle Eye above, it is good for a chuckle. It was surprising to me when I reviewed the film as part of this week’s Blu-ray Report, that this film could be even more ridiculous than its theatrical version. But it is. In fact, it goes right from the ridiculous to just plain dumb without missing a beat. See what I mean by watching the clip above.

Have a video suggestion for The Daily Diversion? Of course you do. Just send that junk via electronic mail to Editors@FSR.

Now I liked "Eagle Eye" a lot but showing some kids badly playing video games followed by a setup for a sequel by using said dumb kid... THAT was bad
  • Nevernude
    What.......The......Fuck.......
  • I.....Agree.....Totaly!!!!!!!
  • The kids should've been playing Nine Inch Nails...
  • 1. I didn't think I could hate this movie more.
    2. I'm actually impressed that they used the restraint necessary not to use this as the theatrical ending.
    3. SPOILER: Sam grows up and changes his name to Thomas Anderson, becoming an unwitting computer systems employee by day and a hacker going by the handle, Neo, by night.
  • Yeah, that was pretty much the worst thing ever. And the use of OK GO's "Here It Goes Again" isn't clever. I am saddened by the idea they would even agree to be featured in this clip.
