The only interesting character to me is Tamara, but I'm not going to watch the rest of the season just to see her. I am of the opinion that the show has a lot of sex to make up for a horrible plot. I've been told that it starts off slow and that it gets better, but I've watched 6 episodes and it shouldn't take that long for it to start getting better, especially when the season is comprised of 12 episodes. I'm glad you decided to rent it instead of buy it, Rob. I watched the first 6 episodes of True Blood and I was bored to tears. It's a visual improvement over the previous Blu-ray and includes a lot of extra features including both cuts of the film, commentaries, etc. Still all features available before but never on a Blu-ray disc.
