I enjoyed his previous film (A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints), and I thought the characters in Fighting got more development than they deserved in a genre film like this. The pugilism-free scenes are what makes the film worth watching, although the actual brawling isn't too bad. The soundtrack is very good too.<br><br>I mean, compare Fighting with something like Never Back Down and you'll see a big difference in quality. I really enjoyed Dito Montiel's Fighting.
