Long winded monologes, various camera angles that no one would use just to make it “Cool”, and a number of actors who look like they are acting 50% of the time. Bascially a rushed half ass film like most of Tarantinos work.

Don't forget to add the explanation of why the lantern's light is green to begin with. You know…how the light reflects/refracts, and how fast it takes for the light to reach an individual's eyes.

Eh. Tarantino does just fine with original or vaguely familiar material. When it comes to comic book material you have to use enough of the original material to pay homage but create your own work of art in the process. I think Tarantino would have went buck wild with the idea, and perhaps created something fun for people that weren't fans of the source, but would have deflected away the core audience. However, nowadays any audience is a core audience for a superhero flick, or anyone that sparkles…

And yes, Inglorious Basterds rocked.

sam jackson as hal jordan approaches an unknown alien and then trys to get info off of him of SINESTRO. after a lengthy chat of god and how he walked on water and it ends with the another chat of a quarter pounder with cheese.

I could see Tarantnio writing the Green Lantern movie for Guy Gardner. With Guy's personality and mood swings he would be a perfect fit for Tarantino's writing style and dialogue. He might be a little long winded but that fits him.
