Man I'm sick of people calling Halle a hack. Maybe your a hack lol. Ya know I think Storm could have been better in the movies but I don't blame that on Halle. I blame that on the writers and directors. Storm and Cyclops were raped in these movies. Much because of the focus that was spent on Wolverine.
Storm and Cyclops are the true leaders of the X-Men and have been for over 25 years and yet if you watch the movies you would think it was Wolverine. He got all of the good story and pretty much Storm and Cyclops were left with his table scraps and that made me sick. I really liked the X-Men movie however they shouldn't have been called X-Men they should have been called Wolverine and the X-Men.
Now back to Storm. I would love to see Halle get to do a Storm origins movie as long as she had great writers and a director who cared about making Storm the Storm we all know and love. A strong leader, full of compassion and presence.
Speaking about the Gambit movie Lauren Shuler Donner said that they might bring Storm into that movie. In the comics Storm and Gambit met first and spent alot of time together before she brought him into the X-Men. So they had always had a very special relationship.
I for one love that idea.
I say bring on Gambit movie, Storm movie, X-Men Fist Class, and last but certainly most of all X-MEN 4.

I agree with you. I love Halle more than any other actress, and in the X-Men series she was great even though they held back on her true potential. For Storm the movie (I hope there is one soon) Halle wouldn't do it any justice. Watch Mortal Kombat Conqest and see Quali who is the black female ninja close friend of Kitana.. She has more Storm charactristics for a solo Movie than Halle Berry does. The only reason I'm a fan of X-Men is because i love Storm as well as Gambit, Psylocke, Rouge, Angel and Iceman. X-Treme X-Men was my favorite comic series ever, I would be hurt if they just up and throw a Storm movie together without putting their all into it. Storm is powerful, wise, independent, strong-willed, tough, strategic and capable of handling herself in hand to hand combact, with a loving heart as well. This is what I want to see in a Storm movie with gambit in it and powerful enemies. If it's thrown together just cause they want to satisfy Storm fan it's not worth making one, don't you agree?

I love Halle, but she just wasn't/isn't Ororo material. Storm is strong, tough, intellegent, bold, sexy, beautiful, a leader with a vicious voice and she stands at 5'11''. Halle has majority of these traits with the exception of the tone in her voice and the correct hight. I want a Storm Movie more than anything, but I believe Roshumba Williams should play Ororo, whom is perfect in all expects of a Storm character, with Mary J Blige on the soundtrack of the movie.

Of course….she's amazing… the second popular character after wolverine. THe camoe can make the story more interesting. wolverine is good..but without the others cameos..the movie would be boring.

I don't think it would be bad but I agree that Halle Berry shouldn't play Storm. I love the character but I think she is a terrible actress. I think it could have been very cool to see young storm with…um…younger Wolverine interact but aside from the novelty of seeing it in that form I don't think that it would make a beneficial impact on the movie.
