After all those sad 'final movies' Connery starred in, I'd really like him to 're'-end his career with a movie such as this. The Indy franchise deserves Ford and Connery – two fine actors – brought together one last time, given the script lives up to its potential.

ive said this a 1000 times and ill say it again. the best cinema ever in history
would be "indiana jones and the hollow earth" , where Ford and Connery set out to
find it only to find Hitler and his armies preparing another world tour. and the Hitler
must be the same one(gordon brown)from all those youtube spoofs of the scene from
'Downfall' this type of spielberg indy movie would easily double the boxoffice of The dark
knight/titanic.

lose Shia & pay Connery whatever he wants. you will make it back tenfold.

Get Sean Connery back!!!! and have it set before crystal skull so that we dont have to watch another indiana jones movie with Shia. Crystal Skull wasnt bad but seriously Shia and Harisson Ford together again NO WAY

I know I'm the minority here, but I actually liked Indy 4. It wasn't cinematic brilliance, and was certainly the weakest in the series, but it was still a pretty good movie, and I though it was good, bordering on great even sometimes. With this being said, I think they should either stop here (Indy gets married. If that's not the ending of a series, I don't know what is) or use the cards they've delt themselves. Don't go back to re-hashing old plot threads. You killed Henry Sr. Let a sleeping dog lie.

Of course, none of this is probably true. Also, Tarzan Shia almost made me cry.

I'm sure they could say that Henry Jones Sr. faked his death so he could evade capture during another one of his adventures…It would be a good way to have fans look forward to an Indy 5…I mean man-eating ants, aliens and nuke the fridge scenes have become a swan song for the quality of the franchise….anything could be a step up if they go with a script not written by Lucas…I can only dream that Peter Jackson's relationship with Spielberg is strong enough that Jackson could be allowed to write and direct Indy 5….

I have to agree with Rob. Connery has been used in the past to try and save projects and they have been more miss than hit. I would rather see a well written, finely directed Indy movie myself, but Lucas and Speilberg will be involved so there goes that idea.

Is it still cool to hate on Indy 4? Well, I'm ready to move past that, but no, I don't want Connery in Indy 5 even if it were just a quick flashback scene. I don't want to be reminded that TWO screen legends are nearing death. Just the one was more than enough in Indy 4.

Bring him back. The last one was a mess so who gives a shit about anything? EMO CUTTING BEGINS.

But seriously. Bring him back. Maybe even make it the whole point of the movie. They THOUGHT he was dead because he went on a solo expedition and word came back he died. Indy pulls a Henry Stanley and finds him. OR Henry Sr. just turns up, having faked his death in search of some ultimate macguffin, which he almost got, but now its up to Junior to find.

There. Lucas, that one's on the house.
