Daily Diversion: The Mindscape of Alan Moore

Continuing on with my attempt to keep this week’s Daily Diversion selection Watchmen related (which is much harder than I originally thought), I’ve rounded up a little clip from the DVD documentary The Mindscape of Alan Moore. This excellent doc takes you into the world of Watchmen’s enigmatic and harry creator. Find out what makes the man who has shunned Hollywood tick. In the clip below you will see Moore explain a little more of the thematic background of the Watchmen universe, as well as see him read Rorschach’s opening journal entry. Also, I would highly recommend you check out The Mindscape of Alan Moore over on Amazon, its a great companion piece to this weekend’s Watchmen release.

I wish there are subtitles so I can watch this video. But yes, Moore is a very strange, eccentric man and I wouldn't want it any other way!

"There is a fine line dividing genius and madness". I think in this case it's more like a razor's edge. I watch the clip and keep expecting him to come running toward the camera, stop and say "Its..." . Now it's time something completely different.
