Daily Diversion: Saturday Morning Watchmen
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on March 5, 2009 | (10) CommentsHey, have you kids had enough Watchmen stuff yet this week? Should we maybe do some more? Is this a tired and cliché joke for a movie blogger to make? All signs point to yes, or whatever. Either way, a little birdy passed this awesome video on to me this afternoon and it fits perfectly into our Watchmen themed week of Daily Diversions. It is, quite simply, the Saturday morning cartoon version of Watchmen, in which Silk Spectre II is a rocker, The Comedian is her biggest fan and Rorschach is a friend to animals. That last one is possibly the most interesting twist, as we all know Rorschach is not really a friend to the animals. Silly cartoons.
Check out the video below. Also, in case you’ve not yet heard, Watchmen hits theaters at midnight tonight. Stay tuned all the rest of this week for more Watchmen themed Daily Diversions. Also, follow along with our coverage of Zack Snyder’s flick over on our Watching the Watchmen homepage.
