When Mama Mia! came out, my hubby sighed in relief to every other husband he knew that he'd never have to see it – he knows that while I do love musicals, I can't stand chick flicks, with a very few exceptions – Pretty Woman and Dirty Dancing being two of those. Gimme the other list any day. Hell, I'm waiting for Evil Dead: the Musical to come to town. :)

It certainly describes a large portion of my movie interests. Obviously I like more than just the chick flicks listed, but when dealing with that category of movies, this definitely hits the nail on the head for not only me but also all my female friends.

I don't think the females on this site brag about anything. Your comment suggest behavior befitting someone on who digs for gold. They should know they have a real diverse group of women. Women who enjoy the same movies they do.

blah on this list, free movie passes be damned!!! I can honestly say that the average girl fan cannot accept this list on account of being allergic to high levels of estrogen. I'm sure somewhere in hell this is the matinee for all eternity, watched "clockwork " style!

Being the tomboy I still am, and very proud of it. I love my custom Arlen Ness Bike. The Fog, Alien, Halloween (original of course), The Original Twilight Zone episodes, The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, anything by Hitchcock, anything with Bette Davis, all old Al Pacino (espically Carlito's Way), anything by Tarantino and Spike Lee. Any book by Stephen King, Hockey, Basketball, Football, The Cleveland Indians.

I agree with Kristina, the female subscribers of FSR are not your average delicate girly-girls. We love bad ass car chases and sh*t that blow's up. I would have thought that the boy's would have guessed that that list would not "cut the mustard" so to speak.

So I'd like to see, The Way We Were, Barefoot in the Park (with Jane Fonda), Greystroke The Legend of Tarzan, Thelma and Louise added to that list, and movies 1,6,7 and 8 removed.

That you are a pretty cool guy. Liking S & C does not mean that you are gay or henpecked. The Ladies of S & C talk as much about sex/men/job's/life as men do. Men don't want to admit they have these conversations in the same context as women do.
