I have to disagree with you, even though Kate is not the best actress she has not made that many trash movies, it seems you do not like comedy genre's. But "how to loose a guy in ten days" is probably the second best comedy I ever seen right after "The Hangover". But then again I have to say that Australia is better then both of these, but I totally disagree with that Kate's career is going down, I guess "Bride wars" sucked, but that's is pretty much it.

Yeah, I am with you about Marisa Tomei. People crap on her about the whole Oscar thing...that it was some weird mix up or something. I don't know about that really...but if she didn't deserve it then, I think she's earned it in the last...what, 16 years or so.

(In the interest of full disclosure, I've had a big thing for her since the early 90s. So yeah, grain of sodium chloride)

I'm fully prepared to take the bullet for what I'm about to say:

I think KHud is good at what she does: slapstick. I actually saw 'Bride Wars' and if you have too, you know how much she out-does Anne Hathaway in that film. Who is the better, more versatile actress? Hathaway. I have to say, 'How To Lose A Guy...' isn't bad for its genre. And it was a box-office success. I thought KHud's performance in 'Almost Famous' was good, but nothing special. Anyone remember how she was poised to win that Oscar? And then Marcia Gay Harden (deservingly so) came out of nowhere and won..... I could ramble on forever... yes she's made a thousand horrible films in the new millennium, but Hollywood is fucked and we all know that. Keep doin' what you do baby.

And if anyone saw Marisa Tomei in 'Top Girls' on Broadway last year, you'd know that she is incredible actress.

While I won't defend Reign of Fire, Sahara was a great popcorn flick. No more, or less brainless than National Treasure, yet Dirk Pitt's hair was less distracting than Ben Gates'.

He did pretty well in A Time to Kill, as I recall. I'm not saying he is Al Pacino by any means, but he isn't the worst actor ever.
