Well that was dumb....i am the type of person who goes out and buys dvds on a regualr basis, and i have never seen seinfeld before EVER..and i was seriously considering picking it up to give it a try.. and i was wondering to my self if this show was a continuing story or vary episodic..i guess from reading this iv got my answer..I HATE EPISODIC series vary vary vary BAD! especially 1 hour dramas that are episodic. I LOVE CLIFFHANGERS!...i expect every show i watch to have a cliffhanger in its season finale..and if they dont..im really vary mad. I can always trust True Blood to deliver a GRATE cliffhanger..almost at the end of every episode...I LOVE THAT..it leaves me wanting so much more...one of my pet-peevs is when a show has a cliffhanger, then they come back next season and they DO NOT pick up EXACTLY were they left of....and its been like 3 days and there just explaining what happind..i like it to pick up EXACTLY were they left of. Cliffhangers are so much fun.. i agree they have way to much time in between true blood seasons and thats annoying..epically now that its a big hit they can definitely extend the season past 12 eps. THAT'S ANNOYING! I also love cliffhangers that pick up exactly were they they had previously left of because all the actors have to ware the exact same cloths and hair dos to try and make it match the scene they shot 5 months earlier and clearly there hair has grown or they have lost a little wight..i love noticing things like that...like in season 6 of "Friends" when Matthew Perry was on drugs in real life so he was fat and Jennifer Anistion Was filming "Rockstarr" and she had those long extensions..and in season 7 they had to try and match what they looked like in season 6 to make it seem like it was just a few mins later..and Matthew was terribly skinny and Jennifer had gottin her extensions out and monica had short bangs (because of scream 3) and they didnt match at all..i love that kind of stuff! CLIFFHANGERS RULE!!!!!!!!

Hell Yes! My favorite type was the Veronica Mars season 1 and 2 approach that had a full season story that is wrapped up at the end with a small cliffhanger over something not terribly important that will keep us wondering. What I dislike is the Veronica Mars season 3 approach that left at least 80 questions because then if it's canceled (which it was) then it's a big middle finger to fans.

Smallville is notorious for season finales. One of the reasons why i gave up on that stupid show. Not only is it written badly but the writers have a sense of "oh we know whats coming, but you dont" arrogance about them and it really takes the cake!.

finally someone spoke out about true blood. good god that ending pissed me off. the episode was awesome until that ending. I want to know what is going on now. that cliffhanger didnt even make sense. it was just plain cruel.

The entourage ending was fantastic though.
