I want to know where my 2-disk special, ultimate edition of “Excalibur” by John Boorman is. I mean, really. It is ripe for the ultimate treatment.

The Movie “Shadowlands” is like that. It's a decent flick with some great actors, but there was only one DVD pressing of it, and now it's worth a ton of money on the intertubes. I totally agree with you!

I want to know what happened to King of the Hill getting released on DVD. They seemed to have stopped at Season 6 (well season 5 for me as I live on the wrong side of the Atlantic).

What I wish i could find dvd – “Touching Evil” (2004) the remake with Jeffery Donovan, not the original with Robson Green. “The Inside”, a show I've never seen but Tim Minear and Jane Espenson were involved and I've heard such great things about it.

Television shows I'd buy on DVD (or even just digital downloads off iTunes)… The ORIGINAL “Cupid” starring Jeremy Piven and Paula Marshall (not the crappy remake). “Now and Again” starring Eric Close, Margaret Colin, and Dennis Haysbert. “The Palace Guard” starring D.W. Moffet and Marcy Walker. “P.S.I. Luv U” starring Connie Sellecca(!). “Strange Luck” starring D.B. Sweeney. And Alan Ball's “Oh Grow Up.”

i could not possibly agree more with your first paragraph. i am the exact same way.

can't really connect with the “Two Guys, A Girl” idea, but the thought in general i agree with. maybe i could get into that show if the execs read this column…
