Seems that's the only time we get original songs anymore - when said singer is actually in the movie. Otherwise, we get recent songs that sort of, maybe, if you squint really hard you can see it, make sense with the movie's plot. Just a f'r instance, "What I've Done" at the end of Transformers made sense, sort of... or maybe I just really love that song. And for my vote - The Galaxy Song at the end of Monty Python's the Meaning of Life. Which we only got because Will Smith was a rapper before he was an actor.
