To which I think you could add the alien creature in "Predator," "Son of Predator," "Predator's New Adventure," etc. All those dreds make him look kinda Rasta anyway. Maybe instead of hunting humans he really came here looking for good bud, and got angry when he couldn't find any growing in the jungle. The final thing that pushed him over the edge was when Arnie offered him a Cuban cigar. Cough, cough – ZAP! That would also explain why he snuffs drug dealers in "Predator II."

I subconsciously stole it. It wasn't intentional, but I have seen The Tao of Steve four or five times, so the idea probably stuck in my head. Good call, though.

But the main point stands: doing stuff really is overrated.

Sorry, but I have to call you out on your #1. You got that directly from the Tao of Steve (great indy film from 2000 starring Donal Logue). If you recall the slacker Dex justifed the slacker lifestyle by saying:

"Doing stuff is overrated. Like Hitler. He did a lot. But don't we all wish he woulda just stayed home and gotten stoned?"

I'm not saying it was intentional but you definitely got it from there…unless you haven't seen it and great minds just think alike. If that's the case, I highly suggest you check it out.
