As a fellow "blood and boobs" guy, I'm with you, Robert. I LOVE this one. Definitely atmospheric, and quite dark for something aimed at children. I still remember the first time I saw it in 2nd grade at the catholic school I attended!

I hadn't seen it in forever until Sunday when it was on the Reelz Channel. I sat glued to the set until... the power went out!!! Right at my favorite part too (the scene where Brom Bones sings the Headless Horseman song at Van Tassle's party)! I swear, some dark God was conspiring against me that night. Grr!

I MUST pick up the DVD of this.

Awesome. I'm a huge fan of all things Headless Horseman... even Burton's Sleepy Hollow, which I still think is one of his best films. It's been years since I've seen this short, but I'll be keeping an eye out for it this week.
