It haunts you and the dreadful events that are only hinted towards in the film (and not actually shown on screen, such as "Lust") keep rearing their ugly heads while you try to sleep. Beautiful, ugly film. I found this film to be more terrifying than most of the other horror flicks on the “31 Days…” list mainly because Se7en lingers in your mind long after the film actually ends. It haunts you and the dreadful events that are only hinted towards in the film (and not actually shown on screen, such as “Lust”) keep rearing their ugly heads while you try to sleep.

It's gorgeous, near-perfect, and David Fincher continues to be my favorite director. So many great shots, quotable lines, and frightening moments - I think that shot of the Sloth victim actually made the list of scariest movie moments. For good reason. I nearly wet myself when I saw it. Alright. I did wet myself. I admit it. This movie is probably the catalyst for my love of films (alongside the war movies and westerns I watched with my dad growing up).
