Dead by Dawn is leagues better than Evil Dead mostly because I think Raimi realized what kind of movie he was making and could have a good time making it. Ash is a figure to be reckoned with, but he's still within the Cabin in the Woods world that real horror tends to migrate to....not like in the third installment which is absurdly genius in its own right.<br><br>Damn, what a great movie. <br><br>Who's up for some non-consensual, arboreal coitus?
