So, this guy-Jack Daniel Stanley, who is screening his little indie flick in the SXSW Film festival lineup that opened today- is a total aszhole.

My wife and I were getting some directions on our first day of the SXSW Film Festival today where EVERYONE we spoke to was super helpful and polite and this guy comes up next to us and just starts ranting about how he's supposed to be going to some VIP, Invitation Only, Filmmaker's mixer but he has no idea where it is, who to ask or how to get there.

So he asks a SXSW staffer who tries to help him. About four SXSW staffers try politely to help this douchebag as he escalates his tone and then yells at one of the volunteers to leave his presence. WHO the f does this guy think he is? No one's heard of you or your invisible film, prick wad. And hopefully no one ever will.

My wife and I were stunned by this man's behavior and demeanor. The SXSW staff members kept trying to explain to him that neither they, nor the SXSW admins have access to the exclusive, private, VIP, invitation-only SXSW mixers held by private sponsors. This is what MAKES THEM “VIP”.

Let's hope this douche Stanley's movie NEVER gets made. He's a rude prickk who thinks it's okay to yell at people who were genuinely trying to help him. He's a complete nightmare on set..you just know it. Let's all give this douche bag and his crap film a pass.

Hopefully the powers that be will give this asshole and his shiddy film a big 'No Thanks.' The last thing we need is another frustrated, tyrannical, indie-turned-studio-backed filmmaker who treats people like garbage just because his parents named him after whiskey. We'll be crossing this film off our list. There's plenty of other, better quality films at SXSW made by genuinely good people.
