Someone has to make Bag of Bones!!! I seen that it was optioned numerous times (One of which was Bruce Willis as a director/actor). It is one of his best books that is yet to be made.

This is a great site, i love it. The cat from hell was actually featured on the movie ” tales from the darkside ” the movie is really good. If you haven't seen it, i highly recommend it :)

A serial killer continually searches for his love Norma despite her dying years ago. He buys flowers, presents them to a girl, and when she isn’t Norma, he kills her.

Yet again, this would have to be fleshed out a ton, but I think it could work. It has a great feel of nostalgia and irony to it since everyone the man meets on the street as he ambles along lovesick and flower-laden notes how wonderful the beauty of love is. One elderly woman actually scolds her husband for not being as passionate anymore right after the man has viciously murdered a young woman. In the right hands, it would be smart, funny, a little campy, and brutal.

Hahahha, it sounds really exciting and gorey! I wish I was Stephen Kings child. Lmao.

Not to quibble details, but in “The Gingerbread Girl,” Emily does NOT move in with her father, but rather into a summer home in Florida owned by her father. (She plans to call and ask him to join her after she's had some time alone.) This is a great story, but very thin. It would need A LOT of padding to turn it into a movie.

“Survivor Type” would make a wonderful 45-minute piece, although I'm not sure I could handle watching it after being traumatized just by reading it.

It'd require a decent bit of CGI, though.

Very nicely done, Dr. When I was younger I wanted to make the early short story “I Know What You Need” into a movie. “All That You Love Will Be Carried Away” was such a fine piece of writing from King. I agree with all your choices.

Yep, The Cat From Hell was the second part of the Tales From The Darkside movie (right after the fun Steve Bucemi/Christian Slater “Lot 249″), starring William Hickey as the old man trying to get the cat taken care of, and Buster Poindexter as the hitman. It's somewhat dated, but still, really good.

Zeus, your right, a pretty good one too with David Johansen from the New York Dolls and I think Home Delivery was done by a Spanish animator as a short – never saw it though.
