For credibility sake, try getting a few details right. Sarah Polley is Canadian, so that would be a lousy Canadian accent distracting from the movie. Mel’s phony Irish accent in Braveheart was a phony Scottish accent.

So, now that the phony parts are out of the way, your reviews sound like it’s actually a good watch up until you suddenly decide to trash it as worthless, except for Butler fans (didn’t know there was a fan club).

This is a good looking movie that is also good, bawdy fun. Anyone looking for an epic romp, watch without hesitation.

Oh, man…this is the second lackluster review I’ve read. I pre-ordered the DVD. And yes, I did so cause I’m a Gerry Butler fan. His good looks, charisma, and expressiveness got me through the dreadful DRACULA 2000. I figure it’ll get me through B&G. :)
