The Andromeda Strain

We Rejects love you guys. No seriously, we do. To show that love, we want to throw yet another contest your way and give you a chance to win an awesome collection of Andromeda Strain goodies. All you have to do is sign up for our e-mail list below and then hit us even further below in the Sound Off section with your favorite Michael Crichton book, or for you sickos, astound us with some of your viral/bacterial knowledge.

I’m a big fan of the Andromeda Strain 1971 flick and novel, so I think this prize pack is pretty sweet. Our winners will receive the following:

The Andromeda Strain T-Shirt, an Andromeda Strain DVD Collection featuring both the 2008 A&E Miniseries and the Oscar-nominated 1971 film, and The Andromeda Strain novel by Michael Crichton.

So that’s nice, right? A t-shirt to pimp, the original flick, the new miniseries, and the book! To enter, all you have to do is be a subscriber to our daily email updates. If you are not already a subscriber, you can sign up via the form below:

Enter your email address:

Also, in order to be considered you must head down to the Sound Off section and answer the following question: What Michael Crichton book is your favorite? Or, sticking with our space bacteria plot point, hammer us with your pathological knowledge.

Didn't they allready make this film. It was called "OutBreak".
    Or 24, Season 5?

    Couldn't give a crap......

Only read one Crichton book and it was Jurassic park

I feel like if you've read a Michael Crichton book, there's a good chance it's Jurassic Park. And yup, that's the only one I've read, so I guess it's my favorite.
  • Well I read more than one! Guess I'm alone. I read all the Jurassic Parks, Andromeda Strain, Congo, and Sphere. Either Jurassic Park or Andromeda is my favorite. The Lost World was disappointing.
  • Chris Fernandez
Jurassic Park was the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!! The book was way scarier and awesome.
  • Jeffrey
This is an unpopular opinion due to the book's ending (and, worse, the film adaptation), but I have to say "Sphere". Call me a sucker for existentialist science fiction. The autobiographical "Travels" is surprisingly interesting, as well.
  • Ken Robinson
Jurassic Park is my favorite Crichton book
  • mike kittle
No doubt, it has to Jurassic Park!
  • Linda V.
    My favorite is Jurassic Park.
  • Larkin
"sphere" was a novel that could have been a great movie. "jurassic park" was another. the soundtrack album for the original movie version of "andromeda strain" was in same the polygonal shape as the film virus and the album sleeve opened like a camera iris.
