There is nothing that we love more than watching movies. Ok, maybe there is one thing we love more than watching movies — giving away free stuff from awesome movies to all of you. In fact, you may have noticed recently that we’ve been giving away more and more goodies as a way to give back to our readers — everything from Indiana Jones Prize Packs to copies of Semi-Pro on DVD. But no matter how cool you thought that those were, they were nothing compared to what we have for you in celebration of the release of Kung Fu Panda, which hits theaters this Friday.
Yes, while Jack Black is kicking some serious (family friendly) butt as an animated Panda named Po, you could be bringing home some of the coolest prizes on the web. What are the prizes, you ask? Keep reading and find out:
- One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive an autographed Kung Fu Panda Movie Poster. As well, they will also receive a Kung Fu Panda “Po” punching bag (pictured above with the lovely merchandise models from the Paramount Marketing Dept.), an FSR Exclusive! Yes, you read that right — no other website is cool enough to give away a Panda punching bag!
- Three (3) First Prize winners will receive an autographed Kung Fu Panda Movie Poster. Sorry, only one (exclusive) punching bag.
Now, I know what you are thinking: How do we enter this thing? When will the winners be chosen? Does Neil accept bribes? The answer to the first question is two-fold. The second part is to head down to the comment section and answer the following question: If you were an animal warrior, what animal would you be: a Tiger, a Crane, a Mantis, a Monkey or a Viper?

If panda was an option that would be my first pick but that is unfortunately not the case so I would be a Tiger because if you so much as touched me those animal rights agency would be on you because they are endangered, and it would be cool to roar and scare the bejesus out of someone.

I’ll say viper because, while the movie depicts Panda as the one unable to perform martial arts, I can’t help but think its the snake who would prove to be worthless. They really just don’t have the reach nor force to be potent in the ancient craft of Kung Fu.

I would want a combination of Crane & Tiger style as my core styles. As those who watched 5 Deadly Venoms would know, true strength is found not in mastery of only one style but many. The power and grace of the close range Crane style would balance well with the strength & agility of the tireless Tiger style forms of Kung-Fu. Crane is a specialty in close range combat as many of the stances are similar of movements made by sailors on a stormy sea with the grace and fluidity of a prima ballerina. Whilst the predatory Tiger, the consumate hunter, crouching in wait for their prey or quick to reverse tactics and approach a combat with a deadly defense. Hense the reason those two styles would be the best balance and an AWESOME combination!!

I wnat to be all of them!! Yea, I totally want to be a shape-shifting Kung Fu animal. So I am the Monkey, and I fling my poo at you! You think you’ve got me, but . . NO!! I take flight as the elusive Crane. I land, and morph to TIGER, so I can gnaw on your leg like it is ham bone. When I am done, I become Viper, to assault you with my venom. And then, for the finale . . MANTIS!!! Just cuz I’m cool like that.
Or the tiger. Just the Tiger would be cool, too.

I think I would be a monkey. The reason why is that I’m a very goofy person, and anyone who knows me, knows I can do a awesome monkey impersonation. When I do it, I have actually had my friends rolling on the floor because there laughing so hard. Also the monkey can climb things, there very smart, and they learn new things easy.

I’d like to be a Tiger. Lot’s of people talking about being the monkey for the tail, but the Tiger tail would whoop ass, like a strike from a Labrador.
Jay Mohr once told a story of a discussion he had with Christopher Walken about having a tail versus flying. Before he could even finish the senetence, Walken blurted out “tail” (imagine Jay Mohr’s Walken impression). Walken says, “I could fly…in an airplane anywhere. But, to have a tail…”

If I was an animal warrior I would be a Mantis. Since I am male, I would NOT be the female of the species, and I would make sure to never fight a femle Mantis for fear of losing my head. Mostly, I would just blend in, and not fight much. I am good at that.
