Contest: Want to See The Godfather at the Cinerama Dome?

As part of the build-up to the release of The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration on DVD and Blu-ray next week — which is fantastic, by the way — Paramount Pictures is also doing a special run of engagement of the newly restored first Godfather film at the Arclight Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles. And since this one of my favorite theaters in the country, I jumped all over the chance to see it. And thankfully, Paramount sent 5 pairs of tickets in my direction.

The only problem — I’m not in L.A. this week. Therefore, it appears that I am going to need 5 of our Los Angeles-area readers to take these passes off my hands. The screenings will take place at the Arclight Cinerama Dome from September 19th through the 25th, and the passes are good for any of the nights. Alright, now on to the deets on how you can score a pass for free:

1. You MUST live in the Los Angeles area.

2. You must drop me an email at neil@filmschoolrejects.com. The first 5 L.A. readers to respond will each score themselves one pair of tickets. Please include your mailing address and include “Godfather in LA” in the subject line.

Also, don’t forget to check back with us, as I will have a full review of The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration Blu-ray published over the weekend. From what I’ve seen so far, it is worth picking up on DVD or Blu-ray on September 23rd.
