We here in the fancy, cavier-filled world of online movie criticism know that the phrase “Deus Ex Machina” is Latin for “He Who Smelt It, Dealt It,” a concept that can apply to the endings of a number of great films.

For every Iron Man, there is a Made of Honor. And this summer is going to be filled with crap as much as it will be filled with awesomeness. So, in an effort to protect the moviegoing public, here’s my cautionary list of eight summer movies that are sure to suck ass.

Films like this week’s Iron Man give me hope that not just the huge, iconic characters like Superman and Batman are going to get their own film. Knowing that the comic book market is fresh for the picking, here’s ten superheroes who deserve their own movie… and some might actually get it.

When I first saw the trailers for Baby Mama, I couldn’t help thinking how many other movies have pregnancy in the story somewhere. And since I’m a bit of a pig (yeah, I went there), I couldn’t help but think how many of these pregnant characters were hot.
