Okay, we all know how this works. Entertainment Weekly puts out a list ranking something… anything… Best Movies, Funniest Titles, Best Use Of A Vagina… and the denizens of the web work themselves into a frothy frenzy over the errors, mistakes, omissions, insults, and travesties within.

What’s better than a good list? A bad list, obviously. And Entertainment Weekly is once again happy to oblige with their ranking of the “50 Greatest Active Film Directors.”

Hurting for some good science fiction on the big screen? Us too. So we decided to dig into some good books and find ten great reads for Hollywood to adapt and amaze us with epic space battles and post-apocalyptic awesomeness.
