For some reason we have all seemingly taken our eyes off of anything related to Brendan Fraser this summer.

The folks at Summit Entertainment just sent us over a wicked high resolution version of the Twilight poster, so we thought we’d treat you all to a much bigger, cleaner version than we showed you before.

It has been quite the couple of days for the Twilight world. Twilight’s first teaser appeared yesterday, complete with brooding soulful looks, tense exchanges and even a bit of action, and now the flames are being fanned even higher with the first poster appearing online.

Late yesterday afternoon our friends at Cinematical debuted the first official poster for one of my favorite films of 2008 thus far, The Wackness. Needless to say, I’m not sure if I like it.

One of my absolute favorite films from this year’s South by Southwest Film Festival was a small, but not too small indie comedy called The Promotion. Today, we get a first look at that film’s poster.

Let me start by saying that I am not 100% sure that any of these posters are anything more than fan photoshop jobs, as none of them actually came directly from Warner Brothers. But despite their questionable origins, they all look pretty damn cool.

It seems that every time I start to get extremely excited about another movie, such as Iron Man, something from The Dark Knight pops up to remind me that this is going to be the definitive film of Summer 2008.

For those who hit the con this past weekend, you’ve already seen these in their full glory. For the rest of us, however, this is a great first look at two top-notch Comic Con Exclusive One-Sheets.

I was initially drawn to the film Baghead at this year’s Sundance Film Festival based on its deceptively intelligent script and its seriously low-budget production. You however, will be drawn to the oddity of this teaser poster more than anything else.

It’s one month until Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull hits theaters, and we’re already under an invasion of billboards… including this batch of six IN A ROW on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles. What’s next?!

All I can say is that James McAvoy looks weird with a gun. Angelina Jolie looks like she’s at home—tattoos, firearms, fierce looks galore—in this one-sheet, but Scottish actor McAvoy kinda looks like a Nancy.

Our friends over at CHUD caught a glimpse of a new Hellboy II: The Golden Army poster by famed artist Drew Struzan. Quick inspection of Struzan’s page over at IMPAwards.com shows us that Struzan has been the artist behind some of the best movie posters in the modern era.

This new poster was officially released to the folks over at AICN today and will be publicly shown at the New York Comic Con later this weekend.

I’m not sure if you could consider this viral marketing, but for anyone who has no idea what The Spirit is, it certainly raises an eyebrow or two.

This new poster for the upcoming Universal Pictures superhero spectacle The Incredible Hulk could very well leave you with a certain sense of sadness… Be ready to cry.

There’s a 3-D animated adventure out there you probably haven’t heard about yet. Summit and nWave Entertainment are bringing director Ben Stassen’s 3-D animated tale of the historic 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing, Fly Me to the Moon.

Our friends over at Cinematical have unleashed the latest poster for Bill Maher’s upcoming film Religulous, which is directed by the always comedic Larry Charles (Borat, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm).

But before we get to the actual posters, allow me to say this: If you aren’t pumped for Tropic Thunder, there is something seriously wrong with you. This film is going to rock, and it is going to rock hard.

Lionsgate has sent us a look at the outdoor posters for the upcoming Will Eisner adaptation The Spirit, which is being directed by the legendary Frank Miller.

Generally, stoner comedies can be characterized by their inaction, or the lack of motivation that their characters have once they have smoked up all the green. But Pineapple Express seems to be more about getting some action, making it the first stoner action comedy — at least as far as I can recall this early in the morning.

Are you (the die hard fan) able to get over that fact and understand that your favorite characters might never have hit the big screen without a little promotional bump from a third-party? Hopefully you can, as Marvel’s upcoming film Iron Man seems to be another in the long line of car commercials turned action movies.

It is worth saying though, that you can’t take these lame teaser posters into account when you look at this film. Based on everything we’ve seen so far, I have the feeling that Get Smart is going to rock. Call it intuition, call it blind faith in director Peter Segal, call it whatever you want, but I have a good feeling about this film — and you should, too.

Ever since I took in the film at its world premiere at Sundance in January, I have been curious to see how a studio would market such a documentary. I guess, now we know — you take the subjects, who are a diverse group of high school students from Indiana, and you put them in context with a John Hughes movie.

There are people out there who are as excited about seeing Mulder and Scully back on a screen of any size as I was the first time Optimus Prime stood tall in Michael Bay’s Transformers. Therefore, out of respect to our readers who know that the truth is out there, we are going to get all over this movie in a hurry.

The new poster for Bankok Dangerous, an allegedly badass thriller that stars Nicolas Cage as an anonymous assassin who ends up befriending a young boy and falling in love with a random shop girl in Bankok while he is supposed to be hiding out, has been released today.
