Charlaine Harris who? You may not think you know her, but if it wasn’t for Charlaine Harris and her creation of Sookie Stackhouse, we wouldn’t have HBO’s True Blood. Charlaine sat down with us at Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia this past weekend to answer a few questions that we were dying to know.

As I mentioned before, we are not in the South of France this year to cover the Cannes Film Festival. But as I also mentioned before, that doesn’t mean we can’t give it a little coverage.

You are probably wondering why you haven’t seen a “Live Drunkenness from Cannes” post of some kind. It’s simple — we aren’t there.

Previously we had thought that getting into Cannes was an infinitely difficult task, but apparently it is not — at least, it’s not if you know wicked kung fu.
