Another busy week of Blu-ray releases, everything from fan favorites to more padding for your Blu-ray collection, should you choose to go that route…

Since I know that so many of you received Blu-ray players for Christmas, I am expecting to see plenty of feedback in the comment area below this week as we run through the post-Christmas BD releases.

Another brief and confusing week for the Blu-ray Report, my friends. Once again I’ve been stuck waiting on review material, sifting through useless extras and pounding away at the eggnog.

This week my Blu-ray queue is jam-packed with movies, some good and others, not so much. In fact, the “not so much” crowd seems to be dominating this week’s line-up with a series of comedy favorites and their lackluster special features.

This is yet another exciting week for the Blu-ray lovers among us, and not just because we finally get The Dark Knight to watch on our HDTVs. We also get a great sci-fi classic and one of TV’s most beloved in glorious 1080p.

Another week gone by and another round of $35 DVD purchases await with the Blu-ray Report. Last week was a soft one, but the Blu-ray format comes roaring back this week with a few cool releases and some others with potential.

This week is a very drab one here in the world of Blu-ray. Therefore I have chosen to pass on reviewing BD releases and just rip on some of these movies. Should be fun…

The Incredible Hulk is one of those movies — the kind that you should probably be buying on Blu-ray either way. Though, it would certainly be the laziest review of my career if I were to just chalk this up to ’see it because its in HD’, so I will attempt to break it down a bit.

There is a reason why they are calling this release the Ultimate 2-Disc Edition — it is pretty ultimate, indeed. I would also go as far as to give it another description, because it is perhaps the most definitive Blu-ray release of 2008.
