It is with great dismay we read that Sylvesters Stallone's contemporary, thoughtful war drama (subtle and cuttingly sarcastic raised eyebrow must be imagined) Rambo will not be screened to the press.

Just today I read the horrifying story of a couple who met and felt an overwhelming attraction to one another. Both were adopted and this only made them feel they were kindred spirits and marriage quickly followed. I think you can see where this is headed, it turned out that they were in fact twins, separated at birth their true parentage never revealed to them until after what is certainly now an unforgettable wedding night. The moral of the story here is twofold; 1. Background checks are NOT an invasion of privacy, imagine doinking your sibling and 2. Keeping back information always leads to trouble.

So it is with great dismay we read that Sylvesters Stallone’s contemporary, thoughtful war drama (subtle and cuttingly sarcastic raised eyebrow must be imagined) Rambo will not be screened to the press. Those members of the press who have seen it have signed non-disclosure agreements to prevent any information leaking out. To be fair it’s always more fun to watch amusing scenes (intentional or otherwise) rather than hear about them.

So what does this actually mean? Well for the uninitiated, refusing to allow the press a screening prevents reviews in advance of the films release. The only likely reason for this is if the studio has little to no confidence in the picture and hopes that a sufficient amount of money has been taken in the opening week before bad reviews get into circulation. Estimates put Rambo’s budget at around $50 million and it will presumably receive an R-rating, which puts its estimated takings are somewhere between $100 million and $200 million. in terms of good business sense this move may actually result in the film covering itself but damn, this is supposed to be about art not money.

Rocky Balboa was good, I don’t care what anyone says. It was handled with care, didn’t present a particularly unlikely premise and for the most part gave fans what they wanted therefore I enjoyed it. Rambo is a different beast and whether Stallone is going to be able to produce the same with such a radically different character remains to be seen. All I can say with certainty is this; I won’t be marrying ANYONE without a valid birth certificate stapled to their forehead.

Ever since I was conned by a fake Star Wars clip, I've been reasonably cautious regarding what trailers are genuine and what ones aren't.

Ever since I was conned by this fake Star Wars clip, I’ve been reasonably cautious regarding what trailers are genuine and what ones aren’t. For the most part I’ve avoided Dark Knight ones without genuine links with involved parties and I’m following much the same process here. Alas, a fake Star Trek trailer has been “leaked” onto the web…

Having said that, the current fake (seen above, courtesy of TrekMovie.com) is pretty cool. Generally you can tell a fake because you don’t really get to see anything, if a studio is going to pour millions of dollars into a project at least give it some good press eh? You can tell this one is fake because you don’t really see anything other than a visually pleasing jaunt through the Sol system (Trekkie speak) and a look at the enterprise at a space dock, well that and Daniel Broadway (A regular on the site, apparently) admits on the site that it’s a fake.

The J.J. Abrams-directed Star Trek has certainly got some potential, and rumors of a Shatner return continue to excite fans, but it must be said the time for some sort of trailer must be rapidly approaching. I admit that while the release date remains around a year away something to whet the appetites of Trek fans wouldn’t go amiss. So for all you Trekkies out there, I come bearing a gift to tide you over until the arrival of either a trailer or the film itself. See here — while you’re at it, live long and prosper.

You can also catch the real trailer running in front of Cloverfield on January 18.

Apparently Cube would love to get a crack at the role of B.A. Baracus and feels he could bring something special to the film. We don't.

Those of you who have read my infamous Seven Great TV Shows That Were Shunned by Hollywood will know my feelings towards an A-Team movie (also, if you read it backwards my feelings towards Satanism). I’m a huge fan and think it is one of the three best things to come out of the eighties (The other two being KISS and myself) and is therefore deserving of a big screen debut.

It is with much interest then, that I read our friends over at Blackfilm.com had a chance to talk to Ice Cube about the possibility of being cast as B.A Baracus. Apparently he would love to get a crack at the role and feels he could bring something special to the film. I don’t.

I’m not going to say Mr.T was a great actor; I’m not even going to say he was a competent actor. If we’re honest he was a blunt instrument of an actor used almost exclusively in one type of role, in which he excelled. He struck at exactly the right time and made characters his own and imagining him being replaced is difficult. Now if we look at Ice Cube’s resume, we see Ghosts of Mars, which I had the misfortune of sitting through and I’m relatively certain I lost 10 years of my life because of it. The truly shocking ‘Are we there yet’ which I was horrified to learn actually made money and xXx….well that’s just too easy. Arguably his best role was in Three Kings, though he failed to match Clooney and Wahlberg in terms of presence and talent he managed to avoid looking inept but Christ that was 8 years ago.

So using the unique scientific method of talent plus competence equals success we can clearly see Ice Cube will doom the film should he be cast. He lacks the focused intensity of Mr.T instead simply managing to look boorish. His Sneer is a poor replacement for Mr.T’s glare and frankly I don’t think he has the build for it. The Success of the A-Team film literally hangs in the balance and while there aren’t many actors who can be considered for B.A, there are surely better choices than Mr. Cube. Worst case scenario they cast Gary Oldman, he can play anyone.

Talking Point: Do you think Ice Cube would be a good replacement for Mr. T?

Everyone owns a few DVDs that they might be embarrassed — nay, humiliated to admit to. With this in mind I have decided to take a stand and say “Yes, I own that copy of (insert name of cringe worthy DVD here) and I am damn proud of it.”

There is a general feeling (rightly or wrongly) that reviewers opinions carry more weight, or indeed any weight with the general movie-going public. I like the think that the work done by the FSR covert operations team leads to some turkeys being exposed and true heroes being revealed, but we can’t always get them right, nor can any other reviewer. The Longest Yard was roundly chastised yet went on to make over $150 million, go figure.

However, I want you to put that last paragraph out of your mind and simply accept that we all make dodgy choices and now I, like Clinton before me will just grow a pair (though I don’t think growing a pair was his problem) and start listing my indiscretions.

Galaxy Quest
I watched Star Trek as a kid and as an adult have sense enough to be hugely amused by some of the — well lets call it acting, and stories put forward. Galaxy Quest parodies these brilliantly and while I’m not a fan of Tim Allen, Rickman is lots of fun and Sigourney Weaver looks pretty hot. Plus it features Tony Shalhoub of Monk fame and you don’t get funnier than him. Nothing to dislike here so stop your sniggering.

Freddy Versus Jason
Right, no matter what anyone says this was outstanding. And here is why, it should be total shit. The story hangs together well and gives both characters an opportunity to shine and bring their ’styles’ developed in their own series. Most important of all, the story doesn’t feature any of the painful weaknesses that hurt the Horror Genre. How it begins is believable (well not believable per se….you know what I mean) and it follows a logical course throughout to the hugely satisfying conclusion. I regularly recommend this to Horror lovers as an example of how ‘Versus’ movies should be handled. Take note AvP.

The Shadow
People often lump this in with hero flops like The Phantom which is terribly unfair. The period is impeccably presented and while it is obvious some of the sets are painted it doesn’t detract overmuch. The interplay between Baldwin and Miller is fun and engaging and they seem to have genuine chemistry. Okay Tim Curry plays Tim Curry but Ian McKellan is good as Margot’s doting father and the action is exciting throughout. Well worth a watch.

Arachnophobia
This is just great fun. Jeff Daniels as a serious comedy hero in as believable a role as I have ever seen. The general creepiness is established and maintained throughout and while the premise is utterly ludicrous (Giant killer spider mater with little spider, bah) it keeps you on the edge of your seat, as well as looking under it. A solid supporting cast crackle against one another, John Goodman in particularly good form. Worthy of an evening in with a loved one, unless your loved one is a pet spider.

Mystery Men
How this didn’t get a better reception I will never know. Ben Stiller is a lot of things but one can’t ever claim he is afraid to try a new role. Roy or ‘Mr Furious’ is hilarious throughout and while some of it is standard Stiller fare it is still very enjoyable. Supporting actors like Hank Azaria and William H. Macy complete the primary trio and compliment one another nicely. Geoffrey Rush and Greg Kinnear are painfully mismatched as Casanova Frankenstein and Captain Amazing respectively. Think of a live action Incredibles and you might get a feeling for what they were going for here. I have never failed to watch it and laugh.

Tremors
Just a great early 90s horror film, featuring Bacon who could still draw a crowd and Ward who is yet to play a character I haven’t found entertaining. Hey, it had 2 sequels and a prequel, it can’t be that bad okay?

Tranformers The Movie (1986)
I actually hated this, but Optimus Prime dies which is pretty monumental. Own it for that alone.

Kung Pow
Frankly this film should be able to split the population of the Earth in two, people that think it is the funniest thing since that video of me naked hit YouTube and people who loathe it. I count myself as one of the former (though that video of me is pretty funny) and look forward to the sequel coming out in 2008. Best watched with a group of friends and a crate of beer.

Land of the Dead
The reason I like this is the same reason I liked 28 Days Later and despised 28 Weeks Later, it’s a survival horror. There are dozens upon dozens of films out there where we get to see a group winnowed to a single or pair of survivors you could have picked the moment they are introduced but films where the primary characters survive because they DESERVE to is a rare thing indeed. Hopper and Leguizamo recover sufficiently from Super Mario Brothers to be on the same side this time and it’s entertaining to watch. A suitable end to the Zombie franchise Romero worked so hard to create.

This list isn’t exhaustive, just a sampling of films I have had the shame of showing to friends and family alike while trying to stammer out excuses, much like the time that bus full of nuns broke down outside my house and when one asked to use my bathroom found it littered with depraved pornography. Mainly because in both cases I was called an evil child.

The recent furor over who was in control of the Hitman project and what rating it was going to get brought to light the lengths a studio will go to in order to ensure profitability of a movie.

The recent furor over who was in control of the Hitman project and what rating it was going to get brought to light the lengths a studio will go to in order to ensure profitability of a movie. Whoever is in control of Hitman currently it is clear who can get the blame should it come out and be disappointing, either De Toth or Gens depending on what is wrong with it. Just the idea that this movie could attempt to sneak past the MPAA as a PG-13 is insulting but not altogether unexpected in today’s climate. Paramount faced it with Norbit, which was given an R rating twice before going through the ringer and making just under $100 million as a PG-13. Fox tackled it with AvP (more on that later) and Titanic and were rewarded in both situations. Should they do it here?

Hitman, if rolled out as a PG-13 will be a crime not only against fans but against anyone prepared to shell out money to go and see it. I’m no mathematician but by my count if the first game came out in 2000 then by lowering the rating to include 13-17 year olds they are drawing in a potential audience that was 6 -10 upon the release of the original Hitman. Now if we also consider that all the games released had mature ratings which would exclude 13 year olds from buying and\or even being aware of the game. What is Fox shooting for here? Didn’t they learn anything from the travesty that was AvP? I don’t care if it made over $100 million. Next we will be hearing that they have canceled all advanced screenings of the film and that lead actors are distancing themselves from the project. Both sure fire indications that the film is going to reek like week old fish.

I feel obliged to point out Fox irresponsible behavior towards the rating system. The gaming industry has inherited an unfortunate mantle from movies, who got it from Rock and Roll, that of whipping boy of all government watchdogs trying to protect our children from material that might send them spiraling into an unquenchable bloodlust. God forbid ACTUAL violence (rather than perceived) drugs or bad parenting could have anything to do with it. Indeed the crime rate has actually dropped in the last 5 years despite an increase in gaming violence. But if you believe the papers and Jack Thompson you could literally open your door and be brutally murdered by someone just coming down from the dizzying high of playing Spyro the Dragon or watching the Basketball Diaries.

The MPAA may also find themselves at fault here by not taking the film in context and judging it on it’s own merits they exposed young teenagers to a product they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to view. AvP had virtually all its material drawn from other movies, comics and games with ratings that would prevent a 13 year from buying them and yet was brought out relating to all of it! How is this responsible behaviour? Well it isn’t, it’s corporate behaviour. Freddy versus Jason (the most comparable contemporary film) was given an R rating and made just over $80 million, receiving positive reviews if no awards or major plaudits. AvP was roundly chastised for being bullshit and yet it made just over $170 million. Currently an R-rated movie can expect profits of anywhere between $100 million and just over $200 million (excluding the Passion of the Christ, for obvious reasons). A PG-13 can and has gone anywhere as high as $600 million so the maths is simple, but is the choice of which to go for? Titanic wasn’t an R-rated movie, even with the additional nude scene that was removed to allow it to pass for PG-13. The MPAA has a responsibility to protect our children from scenes that they will not be able to contextualize or will do them harm, how would giving Titanic an R rating do that? For god sake between 13 and 17 all I wanted to do was look at naked girls, it remains one of my favorite hobbies. Live Free or Die Hard made over $130 million despite seeming light on plot and heavy on action. So by watering down their product, Fox can actually make at least $50 million more than if they shot for something to gain some credibility (Which Fox already lacks, Firefly, The Tick, Family Guy twice. Fox News, the Bush Campaign, the list goes on). My disgust with this sort of behaviour knows no limits and I fear for the future or modern cinema.

So is the R-rating serving a purpose? Yes it stops all of Eli Roths work reaching the youth of today, and I continue to pray for the day that a rating comes out that will keep me safe from his work too. There is no proof that a market has opened up more or that the revenue for such movies has gone up. There is evidence that MORE movies of this type are making substantial amounts money, which isn’t a bad thing. Primarily it’s purpose seems to be as a rotating limbo bar, show so many bodies or so much nudity and you get under, otherwise go back and try again. This endless lives system paired with studios profit targets can only lead to weaker projects ultimately conforming to a certain standard not because it is morally right but because it is more profitable. Remember when movie making used to be considered an art form? Those were the days.

Joblo is eloquently reporting that Thundercats has finally got a director through the cat flap and into the creative litterbox ready to create a CGI money making… err, turd? And the man inheriting this giant ball of yarn is video-game veteran Jerry O’Flaherty and this will be his cherry-popping first directorial movie attempt.

Thundercats has generated a lot of excitement not just amongst felines and cartoon lovers but amongst the well adjusted, trend setting members of the Reject Nation. Articles aplenty indicate how hopeful we are over its arrival after successes like TMNT, Transformers and to a lesser extent He-Man (And all his minions). Does this mean we can see shows like Go-bots and Centurions making glorious comebacks? Well in the case of Go-bots I sure hope not, though I wouldn’t mind seeing Centurions again.

O’Flaherty, while having not directed before has an impressive CGI and gaming pedigree background. He was involved in the massive hit that was Gears of War (Which I own and cherish more than my family) as Art Director for which he won multiple awards and worked in the same position on Unreal Tournament 3 and the legendary Command and Conquer series at the now defunct Westwood studios. You have to feel that while he doesn’t have a background in directing something of this type he certainly has the credentials to put together a visually stunning piece. Whether that will be enough remains to be seen, would the incredible have been as impressive without the enagaging plot? No it wouldn’t so O’Flaherty is going to have to pull something pretty impressive out of the bag if he wants to make a debut to remember.

While things still appear no further forward than the last time Thundercats was announced before being shelved the time has never been better to bring this out. No story has yet been announced though apparently a workable plot has been put together and it may be ready to cast. 2010 just can’t come quickly enough… snarf snarf.

With so many films coming out and merely following the same tired lines as previous attempts (like trilogies, always the same characters doing stuff. GOD!) I got to thinking, whatseries richly deserved a BIG screen outing yet never got the chance? Here are some of my personal favorites.

Everyone has a television show they loved and wanted to see continue and progress or were hugely disappointed when it ended or was canceled. It’s the reason Family Guy has made two comebacks. It’s the reason Arrested Development should make a comeback and it’s the reason David Hasselhoff shouldn’t be linked with the upcoming contemporary Knight Rider pilot or in a Baywatch movie if Lucifer ever manages to make it.

With so many films coming out and merely following the same tired lines as previous attempts (like trilogies, always the same characters doing stuff. GOD!) I got to thinking, whatseries richly deserved a BIG screen outing yet never got the chance? Here are some of my personal favorites.

Thundercats

Ok, this is cheating because I already know a CGI film is being made, scheduled for a 2010 release. I always wondered why He-man, TMNT and Transformers managed to come back and Thundercats didn’t. Have Cats suddenly lost their cool? Yes it had some glaring plot holes, slightly dodgy art and only one of-age female member but at least it didn’t try to teach a lesson at the end of every episode (He-man original and remake) or induce the craving to eat pizza until you wept cheese (Can’t remember which cartoon that was).

The A-Team

So what if it would be impossible to bring into the modern day? So what if it would be virtually impossible to find another cast up to the challenge of playing the four major roles? Stick four barely coherent hobos in that bitching van and drive them around for 2 hours with cars flipping over and exploding every ten minutes. I’d pay to see that. Only Firefly impressed me as much with it’s ability to blend humor and action so seamlessly. Ideal casts have been put forward numerous times, for my money George Clooney and Rob Lowe would be perfect choices for… well you figure it out fool.

Firefly

Wait a minute. Same cast, great plot, they just called is Serenity. THAT WAS FIREFLY! You maniacs! You blew it! Damn you Fox! Damn you all to hell!

Invader Zim

If you can make it through the pilot without tearing your colon with laughter, you’re dead inside. Rumor has it had the show continued a movie would have been released called Invader Dib. Fantastic stories, a quirky and hilarious set of characters and a horribly skewed version of reality that only Jhonen Vasquez seems capable of delivering. I’d sell my mum to see this made.

Angel

I’m sorry, some of you won’t like this but this show kicked ass. The action (Post-watershed of course) was satisfying and exciting without needing to be overly blood-tastic. Angel was a suitably watch able leading character, both dark and brooding and painfully awkward at times, a great supporting cast always seemed to crackle with energy and it weren’t afraid to play the serious card or laugh at themselves. Plus it would have spared Poor David featuring in yet another Tara Reid associated movie-bomb.

Dr. Who

I’m not sure how much exposure this outstanding series has received over the pond but it is one of the finest sci-fi shows out there. David Tennant plays the Doctor, the last of the Timelords and sole survivor of the Time War. Every episode or two you get to experience the immense loneliness the Doctor feels, his need for a companion and his drive to hold the universe together without thanks or acknowledgment. The only thing holding it back is the BBC’s inability to throw real money at it the way Sky One could with Battlestar Galactica. A big screen debut seems in order.

Battlestar Galactica

Series three might have been as entertaining as finding out you have herpes but if they can recapture the magic of the first two seasons it would be hard to deny them a big screen outing.

So there we have it, my list of shows that should have made it into cinemas all over the world but in most cases, probably won’t. Let the arguments begin.

The former underwear model has been sniffing around the George Miller-helmed geek dream project, trying to see if he can get green-lit. Pun intended.

My ex-girlfriend and I were distinguishable by one thing, what sort of ring would make us happy. For her, it was gold with a diamond capable of dragging her to the bottom of a swimming pool should I push… I mean should she fall in, for me it was green and driven by my willpower (Sadly a faculty of mine badly battered from years of video-gaming and Pepsi Max drinking). So with me out of the running as the next Green Lantern someone else had to be considered and Movies.com report that one of the candidates could be Tyrese Gibson.

This is, to be honest a touch disappointing as it means the movie will be based on the cartoon and contain the big 7 (Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and The Martian Manhunter). While this does make commercial sense as it would bring an already established audience and presents the biggest names DC has to offer, will that guarantee a great film? Soccer giants Real Madrid had a Galacticos policy, where they bought the biggest name players for vast sums of money. Did it work? No, they failed miserably and are only just getting back on their feet. Will they be able to give all the characters enough screen time?

Already linked with possible Black Panther and Luke Cage projects (Along with actors like Wesley Snipes) Gibson would play John Stewart, who before the cartoon was the least known of the 4 Human Lanterns. It must be stressed this is only a rumor at this stage as the JLA movie is still waiting on a script, a full cast and a date more specific than 2010-ish.

Having said all that if Michael Bay can make a highly creditable (if rather long) live action Transformers movie for less money than Spider-Man 3 and Zach Snyder can get Watchmen off the ground anything is possible. One thing is clear, if the project can get off the ground it will certainly be worth a look.

JLA might be released around 2010.

Who watches the Watchmen? No-one.......yet. But Zack Snyder is in the process of making Watchmen, so that we can all watch them on the glorious silver screen. Take a look at his first video diary direct from the set of the 2009 release.

Alan Moore, misunderstood genius or revolutionary guerilla comic terrorist? I’m sure whatever I say here someone will disagree with me yet I will bury the yearning to use the middle finger shield of invincibility. Instead I shall attempt to present a balanced opinion on this glorious little snippet from Cinema Blend.

Zack Snyder has released a sort of video diary covering his first week on the set of Watchmen and while it doesn’t show anything other than him and what appears to be a rather well crafted wooden door it is exciting to finally hear the project is off the ground and actually being filmed.

[See post to watch Flash video]

As you can see, he doesn’t say much that anyone with half a rational mind couldn’t have guessed, but why should he? Few other directors take the time to let people know how things are progressing in this manner. Well done sir. Having said that Alan Moore films fall into 2 categories; Horrendous interpretations that immediately induce erectile dysfunction and horrendous interpretations that are actually great films.

I shall let you, the gracious and informed reader decide which films fall into which. What can be said is this, Zack Snyder did a damn fine job with 300 and Alan Moore writes damn fine stories, with Watchmen being possibly the greatest piece of literature in modern graphic novel history (Modern being whatever period of time I deem fit). A match made in heaven? Only time and ultimately we, the FSR legion will produce the answer.

Watchmen is go for release on 03.06.09.

Simon Pegg is single handedly providing British comedy movies with some credibility. I don’t think anyone could look at this statement and claim any fault with it. Both Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz received positive reviews and healthy returns resulting in the creative team of Pegg and Frost being taken more seriously both in Hollywood and in the eyes of George Romero (which I’m sure we can all agree is the REAL benchmark). So surely Run, Fat Boy, Run is going to be a surefire hit right? Erm sort of.

Dennis and Libby’s big day has arrived and all is well, Libby (Thandie Newton) is expecting a baby and the wedding cake is layered. That is, until Dennis (Pegg) is gripped by fear and forced to run for his life, leaving wife and wedding in the past. 5 years later and Dennis is having second thoughts as he and Libby share custody of their son, so he decides to try and win her back. Unfortunately he has waited too long and now must pry her from the grasp of handsome, successful Whit (Hank Azaria). The best way to do that, he feels is to beat him in a marathon, but can he be ready in time? Gordon (Dylan Moran), his best friend and Libby’s cousin is determined to help him, putting them both at risk of getting into some big trouble.

Rumor has it this was originally intended to be a Jack Black movie, and I can recognize the bones of what COULD have been a film containing any of the following as its leading man; Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller or Tom Cruise (Sure, He’d still be playing Tom Cruise but he’s become pretty hilarious).

Apparently Simon Pegg got hold of the script, re-wrote it and here I am writing a review for a film that, with perhaps 40 or 50 pages of adjustments to the script could have contained any of the aforementioned actors and a new cast. And this is one of the weaknesses of the movie and the script in general. With the possible exception of Hank Azaria, the entire cast could have been replaced with minimal impact to the finished product. One thing I look for in a movie is to convince me that the actors could not have been played by anyone else, and I don’t get that here, which is a shame.

There are some great laughs and some suitably clever characters such as Dennis’ slightly nutty landlord Mr. Ghoshdashtidar (Go on, pronounce it, I dare you), who help keep things light and entertaining which is about all you can really hope for from such a limited script. Thandie Newton looks incredible and adds an element of class to the proceedings though she lacks chemistry with Hank Azaria. This brings me nicely to Whit, Hank Azaria’s character and Dennis’ rival for Libby’s affection who I felt was the most butchered character in the film. Up to around the halfway point he is so likable I was thinking about giving him a ring to see if he was free for a drink when his character suddenly changes to a vindictive, short tempered jerk. This works well for the script (And Azaria deserves credit for his performance) as no-one in their right mind would pick Dennis over Whit but it is obvious and shallow, detracting from the overall story. Pegg does a suitably satisfying job as Dennis, but he could have phoned in this role and done a similarly palatable job. David Schwimmer does a solid job directing, though you always feel script and budgetary constraints were holding the project back.

Run, Fat Boy, Run isn’t Shaun of the Dead and it isn’t Hot Fuzz, it isn’t presented in the same fashion, the very obvious Pegg/Frost influence on camera work and mise en scene aren’t there. This might be unfair, comparing Run to other Pegg projects as it is is like saying it should be like “Friends” because David Schwimmer directed it. Having said that, I went to see Run, Fat Boy, Run for something unique and while certain characters and moments are one of a kind, the film itself is mostly forgettable. I’m not saying it isn’t worth a watch, just don’t expect too much. I changed my grade for this 3 times before finally settling on a C, I won’t tell you what other grades I thought about giving it because……well I do so love to be mysterious.

The Upside: It’s Simon Pegg baby! Not to mention a host of other British comedy talent.

The Downside: Predictable plot with little to really grab your attention.

On The Side: Simon Pegg and Dylan Moran starred together in an Episode of Black Books (Dylan Morans British comedy series) called ‘Manny Come Home’.
