It was just a little too low budget for me, I suppose. And I kept thinking the editor was on crack. One of the things that I love about EVIL DEAD II, though, is that awesome recap at the beginning, with that narrator that sounds like the A&E guy. And the fact that it doesn't bother to recap the first film accurately at all is something I've always found particularly hilarious. Anyway, I've always viewed ED II as more of a remake than a sequel. I’m a major fan of EVIL DEAD II and ARMY OF DARKNESS, but I was never able to groove with the original. They have everything, blood, scares, humor, and of course Bruce Campbell. I can't wait to see My Name Is Bruce. There is no other trilogy that hits will all 3 movies, most have at least one that is a let down, but I cannot say that about these ones. HAIL TO THE KING BABY!
