Lionsgate has picked up Oliver Stone’s new automatically-controversially film W. The studio plans to release the movie on October 17th. That’s right. A movie that doesn’t even have one of its featured characters cast is going to be in theaters in 161 days.

Apparently there are plans of a sequel to the 1990 Best Picture Winner, Dances With Wolves, which starred and was directed by Kevin Costner. The sequel will be titled The Holy Road. Yeah, I didn’t know this either until today.

File this under WTF. According to Empire, Donnie Darko, that celebrated piece of indie film making with one of the strangest plots going, is reportedly getting a sequel.
