This is what happens when you send a pack of mainstream morons to cover what the more reputable film sites should be covering.

2007 has been filled with movies that the studios whore out to critics in order to get awards. The worst ones are the films that take themselves too seriously or cover the “meaningful” issues. Occasionally, these films actually win awards, so each year we are guaranteed a steady stream of this crap in the late-fall and winter.

Of course, mannerisms will come into play — but if this Joker is half as menacing and evil as he looks in a magazine, then we are in for a treat.

Aside from a gratuitous nude scene from Jessica Alba, the only other thing that could have improved this film would have been if Hayden Christensen would have leaped up from the surgery, pulled out a lightsaber and went holy Jedi ape-shit over the rest of the hospital.
